3 killed, 15 injured as passenger van falls into River Neelum in AJK

At least three persons were killed while 15 others injured when a passenger van plunged into Neelam River, Pakistan administered Kashmir on Friday.

According to police a Muzaffarabad bound speeding passenger van coming from Nosehri area, with 20 persons on board fell into the river while negotiating a sharp turn. As a result of accident three persons were killed on the spot while 15 others sustained injuries. The police, rescue teams and locals rushed to the scene of the accident and carried out the rescue operation.

The injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Muzaffarabad where according to hospital sources condition of several among the injured was serious.
