New Delhi-Dec 11: With relations between India and Pakistan on the new low post Mumbai terror attacks, the release of Shah Rukh Khan's much awaited 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' has been postponed in the neighbouring country. The film is scheduled for simultaneous release in over 30 countries tomorrow.
Due to the recent terror strikes on Mumbai, producer Yash Raj films has decided to postpone the release to a future date. "'Rab Ne Bana De Jodi' is not releasing in Pakistan as the production house has decided that it is not appropriate time to release the film there," the official said, adding, "The final decision to release the film would be decided in due course of time." "Shah Rukh Khan is very popular in Pakistan and this move to postpone the release will definitely hit our business,".
The film starring Khan along with newcomer Anushka Sharma is scheduled for simultaneous release in 30 countries and over 1200 screens across India. This includes both analog prints as well as digital cinemas. PTI
