Security forces arrested 4 militants in valley

SRINAGAR, Nov 16: Security forces in valley claimed to have arrested four militants including two Pak trained ultras along with arms and ammunition from different places during the past 24 hours.
As per police handout, troops of 49 RR apprehended two suspected PAK trained militants from near Jawahar Tunnel, Qazigund and Kulgam when they were trying to sneak in the valley after coming back from Pakistan.
Their identity has not been made public by the Police and the details are awaited.
In another incident Kokernag police and troops of 36 RR arrested one militant identified as Ab. Jabar Lone son of Jamal Lone resident of Surkhandoo Kishtwar from Guri Draman Larnoo Kokernag in Anantnag. Lone was said be associated with the local terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen (HK).
The recoveries made from the slain militant includes one SLR, one 9mm pistol, eight rounds of 9mm, 31 rounds 7.62 mm, one AK47 magazine, three SLR magazines and one wireless set were recovered at his instance.
From Baramulla Police and CRPF also apprehended one Al-Bader militant who has been identified as Gh. Mohd. Wani alias Gula son of Gh. Ahmad a resident of Naid Khai Sumbal from Khoja Bagh in Baramulla. He was arrested on a police naka during checking. A pistol, one pistol magazine and five rounds have been recovered from his possession. Police have registered cases at different places in these connections. (NAK)
