Birth anniversary of Maharaja Gulab Singh celebrated

Jammu: The Birth anniversary of Maharaja Gulab Singh-the founder of Jammu & Kashmir state was celebrated at Raghunath Mandir here today.
Homage was paid on 216th Birth anniversary of the Maharaja who was founder of the Jammu & Kashmir state on the occasion.
The celebrations were organized under the Chairmanship of Ajat-Shatru Singh Trustee/President of Rajput Charitable trust Jammu, Maharaja Hari Singh Educational and Social Foundation of J&K and member of World Rajput Council.
Floral tributes were paid to Maharaja by the members of J&K Dharmarth Trust Jammu.
Maharaja Gulab Singh was born on October 21, 1792 and he died on June 30th 1857. (NAK)
