Kashmir civilization has dominating impact on Central Asia: Renzu

Srinagar, October, 17- A galaxy of intellectuals, scholars and prominent personalities from Kashmir, Central Asia and other parts of the country attended the international conference on Central Asia at Kashmir University today and enlightened the audience about the historical aspects of Kashmir and Central Asia.
In his address, Khawaja Farooq Ahmad Renzu, a prominent writer said that Kashmir was heart of Central Asia and its glorious had its impact on Central Asia as a whole. He said Kashmir was a golden line of this civilization which had engulfed the whole of Central Asia in its fold. He said it was prince of Kashgar Rinchan Shah who saved Kashmir and became most popular in the valley in 1200 century adding that arrival of a great Saint Bulbul Shah through silk Route was a new revolution and both Hazrat Bulbul Shah and Ranchan Shah saved Kashmir from the onslaught of Tataries.
Khawaja Renzu said time has come to recall our cultural past and revive all trade links between these belts which will boost the economy of Asia and the Kashmir will be the beneficiary of this trade. He quoted Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who had clearly pointed out that "Asia can progress with strength of Central Asia and Kashmir is the star of same. He said strength of our country lies in our civilization which needs to be boosted together to play vital role in dominating the economy of Central Asia through free and fair trade".
