Amidst snow fall at Holy Sita spring thousand throng in memory of Nirmaladesh Pandey

Budgam, May 06 (INFO)- Ashes of Didi Nirmaladesh Panday the veteran Gandhian were immersed in the water's of Holy Sita Spring at Sita Haran. In spite of a heavy downpour of rain and snow a good number of local people were present on the occasion. A religious prayer meeting with representatives from different faiths was also held on the occasion for the departed soul.

Prior to this ashes of former Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi were also immersed here. Didi Nirmaladesh Panday had visited the place way back in 1949 A.D. alongwith the veteran Gandhian Vinova Bhava and was deeply touched by the spiritual and scenic beauty of the area.

Among others who accompanied the ashes were S.P. Verma State President Gandhian Society, J&K, Noor Mohammad District President Gandhian Society Budgam and Sonaullah Taweri, District President Gandhian Society Srinagar.
