Work apace on Rs 64 cr. under ERA in Pulwama
Srinagar, September 24- Construction work on six road projects at a cost of Rs 63.84 crore taken up by Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA) in Pulwama district is in full swing. These includes Rs 24 crore Natipora-Nowgam Newa road and Rs 25 crore lethapora-Ladow- Panthchowk road.
This was given out at a meeting of officers and engineers chaired by District Development Commissioner, Pulwama today.
It was informed that under Prime Minister Gramine Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), the construction work on 49 road projects is also apace. Rs 47.39 crore are being spent on these projects. Of these, 9 projects have been completed while work on 6 other projects is nearing completion.
Addressing the meeting, the District Development Commissioner stressed upon the offices and engineers of ERA to submit their report about the bottle necks coming in the execution of the said road projects so that necessary measures to remove such hurdles are initiated.
