Geelani, Miarwaiz and Yasin being released from custody

Srinagar Sep 01: Chairman of Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani was released Monday evening, family sources said.
They said that Geelani was brought to his Haiderpora residence this evening and then shifted to Sher-e- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) under police cover.
" A police team has already arrived at the Haiderpora residence of Geelani Sahib and it seems they will put him under house arrest," the sources added.
Geelani was arrested from his Haiderpora residence on August 24, a day before Lal Chowk chalo march.
Chairman of Hurriyat (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was also released after a weeklong detention, Monday evening, sources said.
They said that Mirwaiz will be reaching his Nageen residence soon.

Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik who was arrested on August 25 while leading a march towards Lal Chowk on Maisuma was also released, Monday evening, sources said.
They said that Malik will be reaching his residence soon.
