Srinagar Aug 15 (IANS) Mir Nasrullah, a retired bureaucrat belonging to Jammu and Kashmir, is tipped to be the fourth advisor to Governor N.N. Vohra here.
Highly placed sources told IANS that Mir Nasrullah, an IAS officer of 1953 batch who retired as a union secretary, is being appointed soon.
Before retiring, Mir Nasrullah also served as the chief secretary in the state.
Earlier, Vohra had appointed three retired state chief secretaries, S.S. Bleoria, Hindal Tyabji and C. Phunsog, as his advisors.
There was a general feeling in the Kashmir Valley that the governor had not appointed any Kashmiri as his advisor. The appointment of Mir Nasrullah, it is hoped, would address that complaint.
