Sahithia Academy organizes Mulaqat for Kashmiri poets

Srinagar, July 30- -Sahithia Academy New Delhi organized a 'Mulaqat' programme for the young poets and writers of Jammu and Kashmir at Cultural Academy, Srinagar today. The poets who participated in this meet are Shahida Shabnum, Rahim Rahber, Mujrooh Rashid and Shahnaz Rashid.
A renowned poet, Rafiq Raz presided over the function, while a galaxy of noted poets, writers and critics including Zarief Ahmad Zarief, Farooq Nazki, Humdum Kashmiri, Jan Mohammad Azad and Shafaq Sopori were present.
On the occasion, Convener of Sahithia Academy Dr. Aziz Hajni said that our poets have been gifted with talent which needs to be harnessed for promotion of Kashmir and Urdu languages.
