Rs. 3 crore Nigeen club nearing completion Div Com inspects work

Srinagar, July 23-The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Masaud Samoon inspected the pace of work on Rs. 6.3 crore Nageen Club, Nandpora Festival Park, Guest House and Ashai-i-Bagh Park. He was accompanied by Commissioner Housing and Urban Development, Mrs. Naseema Lanker, Director Health, Commissioner, Municipality, senior authorities of LAWDA and other concerned.
Mr. Samoon conducted a detailed review of ongoing de-weeding of the Nageen lake and directed the concerned authorities to revive the past glory of the world famous lake. He also asked the LAWDA authorities to order immediate removal of illegal structures and encroachments on 38, 080 sq ft of the lake.
The Divisional Commissioner had a detailed discussion with Director Health Services, Kashmir regarding acquiring of 14 kannal of land for proposed sewerage treatment plant near leprosy hospital.
