IED, mortar shell recovered in Baramulla, Anantnag

Srinagar April 18: In two separate incidents, an improvised explosive device (IED) was recovered in Baramulla district and a mortar shell was found in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said Friday.
An IED was detected near Degree College in Baramulla town, which was later safely defused by bomb disposal squad, a spokesman said here.
He said an old mortar shell was found in an open ground near community hall at new colony Bijbehara. It was later safely defused by the bomb disposal squad.
