JD Inf releases district profiles at Baramulla

Baramulla, May 17 (INFO)- The Joint Director Information Kashmir Syed Khursheed Ahmad Geelani today released two districts profiles for Baramulla and Bandipora districts at a function organized at Baramulla for the purpose. Besides Deputy Director Information Mr. G.R. Badana, District Information officer, media persons and officials of the department participated. These profiles depict the total scenario regarding development and welfare schemes launched by the present coalition government in the twin districts which have touched a new era of prosperity and progress in these two districts.

On the occasion while appreciating the attempt made by the district officers in publishing these profiles Mr. Geelani said that the profiles would provide readymade information to common man about the welfare schemes launched by various department for their benefit and prosperity. He emphasized that all of us being a joint family members should strive hard to refurbish the image of the department and take it to new heights of glory. He said that only one person heading a particular department alone cannot make it a vibrant and bring about efficiency but it is the whole family members of the particular department who by dint of their devotion and dedication can bring laurels to it. In response to various demands made by Union District President, Joint Director assured the employees of an early solution of their rending genuine and demands. Geelani said that necessary steps in this regard have been started and dividends are expected.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. G.R. Badana had all praises for various publications with valuable information for general masses particularly the Aalove, Kashmir Today, Tameer etc adding that these were the milestone achievements of Information department and these publications he said have proved useful documentaries for readers.

Welcoming the guests, District Information officer Baramulla said that with the manifold increase in departmental activities the working system and style of Information department has changed altogether. This, he said, has been possible through dynamic guidance and supervision of Director Information Mr. Zaffar Ahmad Bhat and Joint Director Information.
