Rs. 14.10 cr spent on 200 bedded SDH Sopore so far

  Srinagar, September 08 – Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. M.A Wani inspected the pace of work going on 200 bedded hospital Sopore coming up with an estimated cost of Rs. 56 crore. Of this, Rs. 14.10 crore have been spent on its construction so far.

            The Director also had an interaction with people and attendants at Sub District Hospital Sopore and enquired about the medicare facilities available to them. The attendants and people expressed satisfaction. The Director Health also visited SDH Pattan, SDH Magam, PHC Langate and Kralgund. At SDH Magam, he instructed disciplinary action against those found absent from duty.

            During his extensive visit, the Director was informed that 43600 persons were provided medicare in OPD at SDH Kupwara and 5604 in IPD while about 780 major and minor operations were also conducted during the period..
