Expose Wakf property looters before public: Dr Kamal

Srinagar July 18: MLA Hazratbal, Dr. Mustafa Kamal has demanded issuance of white paper so that large-scale bunglings in Muslim Wakf Board committed during last six years are fully exposed before general public. He lamented that one particular party and its leaders, who fully exploited their green flag during last six years have looted Muslim property, dedicated and donated by people for pious and religious cause.
He said these leaders kept people of Kashmir engaged with regional, communal and cattiest slogans but clandestinely resorted to such heinous crimes, which are unpardonable both from legal and moral point of view.
Dr. Mustafa Kamal said that multi-crore works have been executed in Muslim Wakf Board without tenders. The three-member committee constituted by the Chief Minister should fully expose frauds committed in executing these fraudulent works. All the figures and exact amount should be calculated so that the same is recovered from these leaders and their executants.
Dr Mustafa Kamal said that every Kashmiri is aware that one particular party raised the slogan of giving two jobs per family in 2002 but Wakf Board scandal has revealed that through backdoor appointments they have appointed four persons from one family, in which the criterion of relationship was maintained to favour their kith and kin fraudulently. He said it was not only the loot of Muslim property but also an affront to lakhs of unemployed youth, who have been cheated by them through this fraudulent process.
Dr. Kamal said breaking of multi crore bank deposits has also come into the notice, quoting recent media reports that one particular party has spent crores of rupees to foment violence in Kashmir Valley by exploiting petty love crimes as tools in furtherance of their secret agenda of creating trouble everywhere. He said that the matter needs full investigation from which source trouble creators were funded by this particular party.
Dr. Mustafa Kamal also said that one particular leader of the party, who loves to be photographer by carrying a green flag has been found holding secret meeting with one anti-Kashmiri BJP leader of Gujarat, particularly at that time when secret agenda to collapse tourism sector in Kashmir Valley was hatched by them. He said both of them have been photographed while shaking hands for reaching the secret agreement to collapse tourism in Kashmir.
Same photographs may be exposed before public so that green veil is removed from the faces of those who have caused damages worth thousands of crores to the economy of Kashmir this summer again.
