Nayeem Khan condemns police action in Baramulla
Press Release/Srinagar, July 03: Detained All Parties Huriyat Conference Provincial President & Jammu Kashmir National Front Chief Nayeem Ahmad Khan , strongly condemned the killings of four youths and injuring several others in troops firing on peaceful protesters at Baramulla, custodial disappearance of a youth at Checkpath Larkipora Dooru & stressed that the solution of Kashmir issue is possible only by implementing the United Nations resolutions, which promised right to self-determination to people of occupied Kashmir.
Nayeem Khan in a statement from Kuthua jail said , that the firing on peaceful & unarmed protestors in which Saleem Rashid Ahanger, Tariq Ahmad Malik, Fayaz Ahmad Gujree & Amir Rashid Mir fell prey to bullets, was unprovoked and unjustified and said that the fact is that the indigenous, peaceful movement of Kashmiri people was being crushed by brute force. Nayeem Khan said that "The durable, fair and firm solution of the disputed Kashmir is possible only through the UN resolution and necessary for establishing peace in South Asia."
Nayeem Khan also paid glowing tributes to the martyrs and said that there mission will be taken to its logical end.
Khan also condemned the custodial disappearance of 16 years old youth Bashrat Ahmad of Checkpath Larkipora Dooru
Appreciating Shopian people for their resolve, Nayeem Khan appealed the nation not to be silent till the culprits of the double rape and murder incident are brought to justice. Condemned the continuous delay in the Shopian probe by the government and said, “The delay and cover up of the criminals by the government is condemnable and cannot be tolerated by the people.”
