Husband kills physically challenged wife in J-K

Srinagar July 02: With the arrest of a man, police today claimed to have solved the recent murder case of a physically challenged woman in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
Katiji was allegedly murdered by her husband Fayaz Ahmad Lone on June 20 at her residence in village Kandipora in Bijbehara, 45 kms from here, senior superintendent of police, Anantnag, Showkat Ahmad said.
Lone had allegedly hit her with a sharp-edged weapon after which she bled to death, he said.
Police have arrested Lone and he has confessed to the crime, he added. (PTI)
