Army busts militant hideout, arrests OGW

Jammu, June 29: Army claimed to have busted militant hideout in general area of Khurandar area of Banihal while an Over Ground Worker (OGW) has been arrested in Thathri, today.

Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that on specific information troops of Rashtriya Rifles busted a hideout in general area Khurandar, four KM from Banihal.

Two Chinese grenades and one AK magazine recovered search in the area was going on till last reports came in, sources added.

Meanwhile Army and STF in a joint operation arrested an Over Ground Worker from general area Jaura, five KM from Thathri in district Doda.

The individual has been identified as Farooq Ahmed Butt son of Ghulam Hussain Butt resident of Jaura.

After sustained questioning he was handed over to Jammu Kashmir police for further action under relivent laws.(NAK)
