Rs.5.18 cr Ashirwad complex to come up at Katra

KATRA, JUNE 28: To provide accommodation to the yatries at base camp Katra, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has constructed Niharika Phase-I and Niharika Phase-II complexes with two bedded and four bedded accommodation and Shakti Bhawan as well as Trikuta Bhawan with dormitory accommodation.

In order to provide free accommodation to the yatris of low income group, an Ashirwad Complex with an estimated cost of Rs.518.00 lakh and having capacity to accommodate about thousand pilgrims is proposed to be constructed in Niharika Complex behind Jayanti Bhawan.

The building to be constructed on a plinth area of 916.66 Sqm. will have five stories RCC structure consisting of bhaint shop, cloak room, kitchen, bhojnalaya and halls alongwith facility of toilet facilities for men and women at each of the floors above the ground floor.

The project is likely to be started soon and will be completed within two years.
