3 die, 4 injured in road mishaps across Jammu

Jammu June 23: Three persons died while four others were injured in separate road accidents across Jammu during the last twenty four hours.

Sources said that Truck (HR55F/3590) loaded with apple on way from Srinagar to Jammu rolled down into a deep gorge near Jawahar Tunnel near Banihal, resulting on spot death of truck driver and cleaner.

The deceased has been identified as Davinder Yadoo S/o Moti Ram R/o Paranpur Pulwas Shibnamn, district Kanoj, UP and cleaner Yangroj Singh S/o Kanta R/o Murli Kanoj Utter Pradesh.

Police on receiving information shifted the dead bodies to emergency Hospital Banihal; Police has registered a case in this regard.

Reports said that Police station Lakhanpur registered a case against motorcyclist Amandeep Singh S/o Bhopinder Singh R/o W. No. 13 Hatli Morh and motorcyclist Virander Kumar S/o Gurdev Singh R/o Dina Nagar Punjab ,because of their negligent driving Suman Kumari widow of Bua Dass R/o W. No. 7 Dinagar sustained injuries and while shifting to district hospital Kathua succumbed to her injuries. Accident took place at Lakhanpur.

Meanwhile two persons including Shiwali Manhas D/o Lal Singh R/o Ustad Mohalla is missing since 17.06.2009 from her home and Pawan Kumar 31 years S/o Shiv Ram R/o Dalsar Ramnagar at present Ward No. 1 Ramnagar is missing since 05.05.2009.(NAK)
