He said “Every morning we have to walk at least 3 km from Doru market to reach the college campus, which add to our agonies, as weather is hot and this makes us tired to attend the classes”.

“What they will teach us as are always in Anantnag or Srinagar for pursuing their studies and their regularization cases in civil secretariat”, a retired school teacher told NAK adding gone the days when teachers were sincere in their duties.

The college staff also admits the problems and said not only students but they too suffer in absence of basic facilities. “Crores were spent for the building but the necessary arrangements are being ignored” said one of the teachers on condition of anonymity.

“We too have problems like of the students but are forced to face them” said Mir Altaf, a lecturer.

While talking to NAK, the principal of the college Nasreen Jan, admits the problems faced by the students and staff.

''We have brought our grievances into the notice of main bosses of our educational department but they never listen to us''. However she is optimistic that these problems will overcome in near future. (NAK)
