Three children injured in explosion

Srinagar June 22: Three school children received splinter injuries in an explosion which took place in the debris when the locals were renovating the mosque of Rather Mohalla Hardu Shiva Sopore area Baramullah district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The injured school children have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Rather S/o Mushtaq Ahmad, Tawseef Ahmad Rather S/o Mohd Sultan and Jehangir Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi Reshi residents of Hardu Shiva Sopore.

The injured have been referred to SMHS Srinagar. After proper search and anti sabotage check 23 live rounds of AK 47 one Booster and one detonator were recovered from the site. Police has registered a case in this regard. (NAK)
