3 militants killed in Doda encounter

Jammu June 05: Security forces today gunned down three militants in an encounter at the Gundoh area in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said.
''Three militants were killed in a joint operation conducted by the 26 Rashtriya Rifles and police at Dagandhar in the Gundoh area of Doda this morning,'' the spokesman said.
About six to seven militants were reportedly trapped in the area, sources said.
Identity of the slain militants was yet to be ascertained while the encounter was still underway. (UNI)
