2 Kg IED defused in North Kashmir

Srinagar April 11: Security forces claimed to have averted a major tragedy by detecting and defusing an IED weighing about two kilograms in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

The IED was kept in Tiffin and was destroyed by the troops of 46 RR near Nanak Bhawan on roadside.

However no loss f life or injury was reported in the defusing process.

“The IED was destroyed at Ashkura firing range Baramulla by Army. Police has registered a case in this regard” sources told News Agency of Kashmir. (NAK)
