Three HM militants arrested

Srinagar March 22: Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have arrested three PaK trained militants from Rakh Arwani area of district Kulgam today.

Police sources said that on specific information a police team launched a search operation and arrested three persons who turned to be the PaK trained militants.

They have been identified as Abid Hussain son of Abdul Salam resident of Hassan Pora Bagh, Ashiq Hussain Shah Son of Mohd Ramzan resident of Tarigam Yaripora and Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Arwani from Rakh Arwani.

According to police the arrested militants are Pakistan trained and belong to Hizbul Mujahideen outfit.

A case FIR No 59 of 2009 under section 10 C L A Act, 13 Unlawful Activities Act, 2/3 EMCO and ¾ passport Act have been registered at police station Bijbehara and investigation is on. (NAK)
