Two women held with countrymade liquor in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 23, 2009: Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two women along with country made liquor in Bishnah area, some 25 km from here, sources here today said. On specific information, police raided village Kotli Charkan last night and arrested two women while manufacturing liquor at their residence, police sources said.

Police recovered 20 litres of alcohol and 900 litres of lahan from the site. The accused have been identified as Shakuntla Devi and Pooja Devi, both residents of village Kotli Charkan.
