1 Die, 6 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar Jan 21: One person died and six others were injured in separate road accidents in Kashmir Valley during the last twenty four hours. Official spokesman said that a road accident took place at Qamarwari Srinagar near Cement Bridge when an unidentified Tipper hit an unknown Auto load carrier in which six passengers were traveling. One injured Abdul Rashid Bajad age 30 years son of Noorudin resident of Nagsari Kupwara died on the spot. Meanwhile a Matador (JK04A/9259) coming from Beerwah to Khansahib turned turtle near Pathkoot resulting injury to conductor namely Mehraj Ahmad son of Gaffar Dar resident of Wallal Pora. The injured rushed to hospital for treatment. (NAK)
