9 road projects completed under PMGSY in Pulwama

Pulwama, January 21: Additional District Development Commissioner, Pulwama alongwith a team of officers inspected various development and welfare schemes under execution in several areas including Sangerwanee, Behama, Tral and Sathoora of Pulwama district today. During the course of inspection, the team was informed that Rs. 4.26 crore are being utilized under National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP) during this fiscal. So far, Rs. 2.11 crore have been incurred. Under IAY, Rs. 1.38 crore have been distributed among the beneficiaries for construction of low cost dwelling units. As many as 460 works are under execution at an estimated cost of Rs. 6.31 crore in five model villages of the district. Under Prime Minister's Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY), nine road projects have been completed at an expenditure of Rs. 4.53 crore.
