ISLAM

Islam is an Arabic word and signifie peace.It means fear of God in the conduct of worldy life,living a virtuous life as enjoyed by God and His Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and on his progeny). SIKHISM

The advent of the Sikh faith in Kashmir begins with the visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji (1460-1530 A.D) to the valley, in the early sixteenth century.
