ALI SHAH (1570-158 A.D)
The king like his brother Hussain Shah, tried to restore normalcy by adopting the policy of appeasement and respected the Sunni saints and scholors particularly Shiekh Hamzan Makhdoom and Shiekh Yaqub Surfi who wielded great influence among the Sunni population Mabarak Baihaqi, a Sunni, was appointed as Prime Minister and thereby, the Sultan won to his side a good number of Sunni nobles.
But the lust for power among the various factions of Chak dynasty prompted them to rebel against their own kiths. The king, in early years of his reign, had to confort his son Yousuf Khan was instigated by family members to defray the orders of his father. The political uncertainty and chaotic situation encouraged the two sons of Nazuk Shah to make a bid to regain the monarchy of the state but were defeated by the Chak commanders.
